KNIPEX extends contract a third time
In 2021, KNIPEX was the first organization that decided to support our work and become a Plastic Fischer. Since then, the company financed the collection and management of 69 tons of River Plastic - which is the equivalent of the weight of 2 Airbus A320 Airplanes!3 years in a row, the family business increased their support of environmental protection and with this, supported local jobs in India.

Thanks to Covestro, we are able to free the beaches of Mangalore from tons of non-organic material - mostly PU- and styrofoam which breaks down into microplastic easily and threatens marine life. Together with Covestro, we explore opportunities to re- and upcycle the collected material.
